On our radio dial

TV’s biggest cooking show hosts will talk turkey on the Food Network from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday. But earlier that day from 9 to 11 a.m., Portland will have its own live experts on air, all dishing about Thanksgiving. KPAM’s “The Simple Kitchen With Missy Maki” will feature a bevy of local bloggers sharing their tips and recipes for the “ultimate Oregon Thanksgiving menu.” You’ll hear Fabiola Donnelly of notjustbaked.com; Carrie Cowan of swellkid.com; Rebekah Hubbard frompdxfoodlove.com; Sala Kannan from veggiebelly.com; Brandie Kajino fromspoonandsaucer.com; Lindsay Strannigan from rosemarried.com; Mary Crowe frommaryeats.com; Kim Demmon from todayscreativeblog.net; and host Missy Maki ofmrsmakicooks.com. The menu sounds splendid, with everything from a classic brined and roasted turkey to crock-pot stuffing to brie biscuits. All recipes will be available on Maki’s blog. KPAM is at 860 AM.
